+Helper.com Refresh!

On Monday, February 25th we went live with a new look for the Helper.com website!  We invite you to check out our new Newsletter page which will include the latest about Helper and also events and topics in behavioral healthcare.  In the coming days we will post a video here highlighting all the new innovations on our website.  Let us know your feedback!

+myHelper Update (our web-based cloud solution)

In an effort to keep the communication lines open, we will document progress toward the launch of myHelper here.

For an updated preview of myHelper, view the video!

We are meeting with our partners at Pulse on Friday this week to plan road mapping that will most benefit our customers.  We are seeing the landscape for electronic claims evolve and we are making sure we stay ahead of the curve.

If you have new feature ideas or questions about myHelper, please send a message to: myhelper@helper.com.

+Helper ClaimsConnect security notification

For our ClaimsConnect customers, the following is a notice from our partners at Pulse regarding operating system requirements:

"In order to be compliant with Federal Information Standards and the HIPAA security rule regarding the cryptographic module, computers need to have at a minimum operating system of Windows 7 or a more recent version by June 30, 2019.  Failure to upgrade to a newer version of OS jeopardizes the encryption of the communications with payers of claims data transmitted via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).  Windows 7 and more recent Operating Systems are in compliance with HIPAA due to data encryption advances.  For those using Apple devices, they must use iOS 9 or more current."

Valid Windows Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7; Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008R2 (if current on patches)

Valid iOS/Apple: mac OS 10, OS X, OS 9

Operating Systems putting data at risk: Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows98, Windows95 and all earlier versions; Windows Server 2003

iOS/Apple putting data at risk: OS 8, System 7 and earlier versions

If you need assistance in determining your software version or if you are in compliance, please call the Technical Support line at 800-343-5737.

+Helper Billing Services

Over the past 6 months, we have seen our Billing Service client list double!  Who should consider using Helper for Billing Services?  You should if you:

  1. recently lost your billing expert
  2. are doing your own billing and you'd like to stop
  3. are doing your own billing and are losing money by not following up on secondary claims
  4. are doing your own billing and your claims are expiring

Our rate structure reflects the money you collect not just what we bill for you. To request information, go to the Billing Services page on our website.

+Helper Helping - EveryDayMatters

Through the EveryDayMatters Foundation, Netsmart affords their associates the opportunity to volunteer for a charitable organization that is important to them.  We would love to do something that is a passion of those in the Helper customer community.  If you have a suggestion for how the Helper team can volunteer (ideally in the Kansas City area), please send them to info@helper.com and we will consider them for a 2019 Volunteer Day.
